Gluten free Chocolate Brownie

CHOCOLATE BROWNIES – Gluten free

INGREDIENTS:

150g Dark Chocolate, broken into small piecesChocolate Brownie - GF
150g Butter
2 medium eggs
150g Castor sugar
100g Plain gluten free flour (or Besan flour)
100g Chopped nuts (or Choc chips)

So this is the naughty recipe – the healthier version is to follow – Paleo Brownies

METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC
  2. Prepare square cake tin by lightly greasing and lining with baking paper
  3. Place butter in heat proof bowl and heat over hot water, when melted add chocolate and stir till melted
  4. Place eggs and castor sugar in a medium bowl and beat till slightly thickened
  5. Stir in melted chocolate
  6. Stir in flour and nuts or choc chips
  7. Pour into lined pan
  8. Place into moderate oven and bake for around 35 mins or until the centre is set
  9. When cooked, remove from oven and leave in pan for 5-10 mins
  10. Carefully remove from pan and allow to cool completely
  11. Slice into squares
